Social Sustainability is about the people across the entire value-chain of the business. Suppliers, the people impacted by your suppliers all the way down the chain on communities who are impacted by the end-of-life of your product or service. The premise being that if the company didn’t exist, certain negative outcomes wouldn’t have occurred and vice versa, if the company didn’t exist, potentially positive economic outcomes might not have developed.
